We are excited to announce our line up for the 2018 Festival on the Hill. We have an excellent and versatile musical arrangement to keep everyone entertained on the day.
Our Festival starts at 12.00 noon and our first act Is Paul Edwards, guitarist and signer from the Swansea. Paul will preform an acoustic mix of songs including some of his own songs and some of his personal favourites.
Next up will be Voices on the Hill choir who will deliver their own unique twist and interpretation on some classic songs. They truly epitomise community spirit and commitment and welcome all new comers who wish to join them.
Next in line we have Kodiak Avenue, an acoustic guitar and vocal duo based in Aberdare, South Wales. They formed in May 2015 and play a variety of musical genres, featuring songs by artists such as Eva Cassidy, Ed Sheeran, Christina Perri, Norah Jones and Lady Antebellum, and they are always adding new songs to our repertoire. As a duo, they have performed at several venues including the Brecon Jazz Festival.
We have a great Welsh Folk band to announce very soon. As soon as we get confirmation we will share this with you.
Next, we have a great set from the Swansea Ukulele Club. With years of experience and gigging in the South Wales area you can rely on this talented group to bring the sunshine with them as they deliver set of sing-a-long songs for all to enjoy.
Our headliners Blue Rope will end Festival on the Hill with a rock n roll bang. Blue Rope are a local band that gig in the West Wales area. They are a local band from the South Wales area performing their own songs and covers of various rock songs from across the decades, including artists from AC/DC to the Stereophonics.

We welcome all persons involved in the world of autism, whether you have autism and/or know somebody with autism and are looking for support and advice. We will hopefully be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction. The branch is run by volunteers Anthony (Branch Chair), Claire (Vice Chair), Louise (Secretary) and Jeremy (Treasurer) and between us we have 3 autistic children all with very different needs. We run many different activities in and around Swansea such as coffee meetings, training courses, kids social clubs, swimming sessions at Penlan LC, autism friendly sessions at Go Air Trampoline Park and Playzone. We also do information stalls and awareness sessions at different business, organisations and schools. We are a self funded local branch and rely heavily on our members or members of the public raising money for/with us. Would you like to sponsor a band, advertise, sell your goods and promote your business locally in the first annual ‘Festival on the Hill’, Swansea?
Sponsoring a band or advertising with us means that as well as supporting a local event, your business, logo, website and social media links will be displayed on our website and social media campaigns before and after the event.
We are expecting 4000+ visitors throughout the day. Each visitor will be given a free booklet displaying our supporters and advertisers.
Advertising costs between £20 and £75 (for our full package).
If you wish to pitch up at our festival, costs start at £20.
We will be keeping our website and our social media activities ‘live’ after this year’s event to ensure we build up to next year’s event well in advance.
There is also an opportunity to set up a stall, or simply a table, to sell your non-hot food goods (some food stalls will be considered providing they don’t clash with the café on site).
